Photograph of a single-family residence at 5012 Summit Street, and the rear of the
residence of 5011 Sunset Drive at its rear, in the 1980s. The house at 5012 Summit, known as the "Pink House" for its pink stucco, was designed by Mary Rockwell Hook in 1922 for herself and her family. The 5011 residence was also designed by Hook and built in 1922-23 from stone quarried on the property, and was occupied by Hook's parents, Captain and Mrs. Bertrand Rockwell, until their deaths in 1930 and 1947, respectively. |
