Description
A house located at 32 S. 16th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, is the first in Kansas to earn "Passive House" certification. To be deemed passive, the structure must use 90 percent less energy than a typical home. Graduate architecture students from the University of Kansas program, Studio 804, built the home and was supervised by KU professor Dan Rockhill. The home is on the market and is listed at $159,000.
