File contains brochures and articles about the life of John William Boone (aka Blind Boone) and his contribution to Ragtime music. Boone performed all over the US, Canada, and Mexico. From 1880 to 1915, he performed a total of 8,650 concerts. His repertoire included classical, plantation songs, religious songs, and Ragtime. He became one of the first black artists to cut piano rolls. The John W. "Blind" Boone House is located at 10 N. 4th St., Columbia, Missouri.
