Photograph, looking northwest, of a section of the William Volker Memorial Fountain,
located on the south end of Volker (later Theis) Park near the intersection of Oak Street and Volker Boulevard, in the late 1970s. The fountain, dedicated in 1958, was moved further south toward Volker in the late 1990s as part of a redesign of Brush Creek and Theis Park. The Midwest Research Institute building, south of Volker, can be seen in the background of the image. |
