Description
The Great Mall of the Great Plains, located at Interstate 35 and 151st Street in Olathe, will close its doors in the fall of 2015. The 786,000-square-foot mall has struggled to turn a profit ever since it first opened in 1997 and it is currently only half occupied. Redevelopment plans for the site, including the possibility of demolishing all or part of the structure, are currently in the works.
