Article describes the successful efforts of Rick Bumgardner and Don Fields to convert Rosedale's Fire Station Number 1, an historic building located at the corner of I-35 and Mission Road, into a living space. The building, which combined a fire house with a city hall and jail, was built in 1912, and auctioned off to the public in 1998.
