Obituary for Dr. Gordon Sauer who died September 1, 2003. He was a noted local dermatologist who published in his medical speciality as well as taught and lectured. He studied John Gould, 19th century British bird artist and ornithologist and published a biography on him as well as other publications. He also collected many of his works.
