Ramon Murguia of Kansas City, Kansas, is the new chairman of The National Council of La Raza, "the largest Hispanic organization in the United States." Murguia, 39, was one of seven children, and he still lives in the same Argentine neighborhood where he was raised. He has a long record of community service and has headed the Hispanic Development Fund for more than ten years.
