Description
Follow-up article on the shootings which occurred on Sunday, April 29, 2007, at the Ward Parkway Shopping Center. The gunman, David Logsdon, shot and killed Leslie Noble Ballew and Luke A. Nilges in the mall's parking lot as well as probably killing Patricia Reed who was found dead at her home. He was killed by police at the shopping center. Logsdon's sister says he was mentally ill and had problems with alcohol. The situation could have been worse and more people could have been killed if it were not for the efforts of policeman who were pursuing him. Event happened in the same month that over 30 people were shot at Virginia Tech.
