Article details the experiences of several survivors of the Hyatt Regency skywalk collapse, as well as some of those who helped in the rescue or had family members who perished. To commemorate the 30-year anniversary of the disaster that took place July 17, 1981, a book has been produced by Kansas City Star Books titled "The Last Dance: The Skywalks Disaster and a City Changed" with proceeds going to the Skywalk Memorial Foundation.
