Description
Photograph of part of the Beacon Hill Apartments complex at 2719-2737 Troost Avenue in
the early 1980s. Originally known as the Spanish Court Apartments, the five buildings were designed by local architect Nelle E. Peters and built in 1925. In the early 19870s, those buildings were integrated into a large subsidized housing complex, the Beacon Hill Apartments, spanning both sides of the 2700 block of Troost. The addresses of the buildings pictured are 2731-33 Troost and 2735-37 Troost. |
