Biographical sketch of W. E. Oliver, "engaged extensively and successfully in the sale of horses and mules." Born in West Virginia in 1869 and growing up in Olathe, Kansas before coming to Kansas City about 1893 as a livestock dealer at 1604 Walnut Street and later 2423 Grand Avenue with a branch livery on East 15th Street ("known as the Sunshine stable") and residence at 4147 McGee Street.
