Description |
Description
Aerial view, taken from an elevated location near Oak Street and Truman Road, of the
Crossroads area of Kansas City in the 1980s. Liberty Memorial, the KCPT broadcast tower, and the BMA Tower are among the structures visible in the background of the image. Buildings on the blocks at the lower left of the image were later demolished to make way for the construction of the Kansas City Star printing building and to create additional surface parking lots. |
