Pages 84-85: "'I don't think we've done a good job of planning downtown,' he [Davis] said in one of his most unequivocal statements of the interview. 'It has not had the attention of city government that it deserves. I've advocated an open square for downtown, a piece of public ground with development around it. ..And one of the key factors is the absence of public space, as in Cincinnati and Minneapolis.'"
