Biographical sketch of Arthur McKinley, "of the Arthur McKinley Company, engaged in the plumbing business in Kansas City." Born in Fort Scott, Kansas, in 1871 and coming to Kansas City about 1904 as operator of his own "plumbing and heating establishment" on 12th Street. Son of Thompson McKinley, a native of Ireland "open[ing] the first wholesale coalyard in Kansas City in 1871, it being located at the foot of Main or Grand avenue."
