Article profiles the North End Deli (910 E. 5th Street) and its owner/operator, Pete Mesh. The business formerly operated as Lasala's Deli, which opened in 1921. Pete Mesh worked at Lasala's as a young man and decided purchase the deli in 2011. In addition to changing the name of the business, Mesh has updated the interior of the 107-year old building and added new menu items.
