Biographical sketch of General William Morgan, "who established the first wholesale drug house in Kansas City in the summer of 1866." Born in Ohio in 1834 and coming to Kansas City in 1867, opening his drugstore that year at "the First National Bank buiding on the northwest corner of [4th] and Delaware streets" before moving to "the Keene & Furgason building, corner [3rd] and Delaware streets" and leaving the city in 1874 as a railroad promoter.
