Description
Photograph of Osco Drugstore at 3948 Main, at the corner of Main Street and Westport
Road, circa 1990. The building was originally designed by local architect Clarence Kivett and opened as a Katz Drug Store in 1934. After Skaggs acquired the Katz chain in 1971, the stores began operating under the Skaggs name. In 1985, the store became an Osco drug store after another round of mergers and rebranding. |
