Transcribed article: Looking Northeast over the Olathe Naval Air Station, this aerial photograph shows the three buildings that will move before July 1 from its present quarters at the Fairfax airport. Indicated by the figure (1) is a hanger which has been assigned to air force use. It has been unoccupied since the war's end. A former mess hall (2) will be used by the air unit as a supply warehouse and offices. Air administrative headquarters and living quarters for the air personnel to be based at the station will be established in an old navy barracks (3). It is expected to work on the modification of the buildings will start next month. Kansas City Star, March 12, 1950.
