Description
A collection of 70 pages of photocopied newspaper articles detailing the murders of six women and the subsequent investigation of those crimes. Over a seven-month period in 1989 and 1990, six women were found strangled in or near Gillham Park in midtown Kansas City, Missouri. Ray Shawn Jackson confessed to the crimes and was sentenced to life without parole. Each clipping is annotated with its date and source of publication. Names involved with the murders were Annette Stewart, Kimberly Creer, Tresa Williams, Janice Berryman, Tonya Ward, and Michelle Mitchell.
