Obituary with photo for Dr. Gideon Brown, "a leading physician and surgeon in Kansas City for 40 years." Dr. Brown was recognized nationally as a top goiter surgeon. He was a native of Mecca, Missouri and settled in Kansas City as a physician in 1909, with offices at Independence and Charlotte Avenues, later moved to 1705 East 12th Street. His residence was 2401 Benton Boulevard.
