Interview with Stan Herd who earned the designation "crop artist" by Dan Rather. Herd "is a Lawrence-based crop artist. His rendering of a bottle of Absolut vodka 'painted' on 17 acres using indigenous crops ran in ads in national magazines in 1989. A feature film called 'Earthwork,' based on a project Herd did on an abandoned lot owned by Donald Trump in New York, has won numerous awards at film festivals and has been picked up by Shadow Distribution for release in 2011."
