A $3 million expansion is underway at Boulevard Brewing Co. at 25th Street and Southwest Boulevard in Kansas City, Kansas. Beginning in November, Boulevard plans to install "eight new 300-barrel fermentation tanks, which will allow the brewery to produce an additional 35,000 barrels of beer a year, about a 20 percent increase in capacity."
