Photograph of the west side of the West Junior High building at 1936 Summit Street in
the 1980s. Designed by architect Charles A. Smith, the junior high building and attached library opened in 1926 and were connected to the adjacent Switzer School by a bridge. The Switzer/West campus closed permanently in 2006 and was sold for redevelopment as a residential property in 2015. |
