View looking northwest from the Paseo High School building at 4747 Flora Avenue in the
1980s. Designed by school district architect Charles A. Smith, the school was completed in 1926. It was closed in 1990, to be replaced with a new building to house the Paseo Academy for Fine and Performing Arts magnet school on the same site. Buildings pictured include the Marriott Hotel, at 45th ; Main Street, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, at 45th ; Oak. |
