Photograph, looking west, circa late 1970s of Southwest High School at 6512 Wornall
Road. It opened in 1925 and at the time of the photograph, the Southwest Branch of the Kansas City Library was co-located there until it closed in the late 1980s. Since 1995, the school closed, reopened as a charter school, closed again, reopened as an "early college campus" school and closed again. Located in the Armour Fields neighborhood. |
