Photograph of the Progress Club, built in 1893, designed by Kansas City
architects Louis Curtiss and Frederick Gunn. It housed Kansas City's first Jewish social group, the Progress Club, formed in 1881. Later, circa 1915, it housed the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA). The building was added to the Kansas City Register of Historic Places in 1984. |
