Description
Photograph of Martin School at 716 North Garland Avenue in the 1980s. The school,
named for school board member Judge Edward L. Martin, originally operated in a building built in 1882. The new building, pictured, opened in 1955 but was closed by the school district due to low enrollment in 1976 as the surrounding area become primarily industrial. The building was sold circa 1981 for industrial/warehouse use. |
