Description
Photograph of the Lincoln Building on the southeast corner of 18th and Vine in the
late 1980s. The commercial and professional social building, with a third floor dance hall, opened in 1921 and served as a hub of Kansas City's black community. After several decades of decline, a renovation project, converting the building into office space, began in 1979 and completed in 1981. |
