Note(s)	Note(s) Named for Jane Hayes Gates, wife of Jemuel Gates, a real estate operator, who gave the site to the Board of Education for such time as they would operate it as an industrial school for girls. It merged with the Lathrop Trade School and Manual Training High School in 1939.
