Photograph from late 1980s of the Cordova Hotel at 523 W 12th Street. The building was
nominated for the National Register of Historic Places and placed on the Kansas City Register of Historic Places in 1986. Built in 1889, the Cordova Hotel's architect was Frank Resch. This five-story brick and cut-stone building has been converted into apartments. The ABC Store in the foreground has been torn down and replaced by a parking lot for the apartment residents. |
