Photograph of a footbridge and sign on the north side of Brush Creek in the 1980s. The
sign, standing between J. C. Nichols Parkway and Wornall Road, was placed in 1977 and lists distances to Kansas City's sister cities: Seville, Spain; Morelia, Mexico; Kurashiki, Japan; and Freetown, Sierra Leone. The bridge was disassembled in the early 1990s and replaced circa 1999. |
