Photograph of houses on Pierce Street in the 1980s. The eight small stone houses were
built in 1907-08 by Kansas City Star publisher William Rockhill Nelson for his employees. In 1981 they returned to use as single-family homes after years of use as University of Misouri-Kansas City offices and storage. |
