Kc Magazine's woman of the year, Beth Zollars, actively supports many non-profits involving women, such as the Women's Lyceum, Turning Point, Johnson County Young Matrons, to name a few. Zollars came to Kansas City in 1996 when her husband Bill accepted a job with Yellow Freight. He is now chairman of the board, CEO and president of Yellow Roadway Corporation.
