Photo and biographical article about Warren Welch (1840-1916), "a son of Simeon Fletcher Welch [or Simeon Welch], a pioneer of the eastern part of Jackson County." Description of Warren as a native of Lafayette County, Missouri raised in Jackson County and serving the Confederacy under Quantrill in the Civil War before moving to the Lee's Summit area in 1870 and co-organizing "the Quantrill Society in 1899."
