Photo and bio of Walter Fritschy, founder and concert manager of the Fritschy concerts of classical music and opera in Kansas City with office in the Altman Building. Description of his life and career, born in New Jersey and arriving in Kansas City in 1903 as a music teacher performing "on the Keith-Proctor circuit" and starting promotion of concert series, working and teaching in the Kansas City Life Building, the Studio Building, "the old Casino dance hall on Broadway," the Shubert Theater, the Grand Avenue Temple, Municipal Auditorium, and the Music Hall, residing in Clay County.
