The Kansas City Convention and Visitors Association announced the winners of its new "Visitor Choice" awards at its annual awards luncheon. The balloting was done online and the Country Club Plaza won as "The Best of Kansas City." Other winners included: favorite restaurant - The Cheesecake Factory; steakhouse - Hereford House; barbecue restaurant - Fiorella's Jack Stack Barbecue; jazz venue - The Blue Room; shop or store - Cabela's; Hotel or bed & breakfast - Westin Crown Center, etc.
