Profiles of two Kansas City saxophone players from different generations. Horace Washington is Kansas City born and trained, learning at the Leon Brady Sumner program and from musicians with ties to the heydays of the growth of the city's jazz reputation. Sioux City, Iowa native Steven Lambert studied with Bobby Watson at the UMKC Conservatory and, dedicated to perpetuating the city's jazz reputation.
