Article documents an effort by Brett Shoffner, executive director of the Cliff Drive Corridor Management Committee, to close Cliff Drive that runs through Kessler Park to car traffic. Shoffner and other concerned citizens are interviewed and describe the illegal dumping and crime that the secluded roadway attracts when it is open to automobile traffic during weekdays. Opponents of Shoffner's proposal are interviewed and explain their positions.
