Article on the "Tactile Tours" program recently instituted at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in conjunction with the Alphapointe Association for the Blind. Museum docents escort up to nine visually impaired or blind participants through the museum, giving brief lectures and allowing them to feel different pieces of art. So far, all the participants have responded positively to the experience.
