Article about the town of Tiffany Springs, Missouri, north of Kansas City near what later became Kansas City International Airport. The area was developed for its natural groundwater springs in the 1880s, which supposedly had medicinal benefits. Photo, map, illustration, and history of the area which was planned for development by Dr. Flavel Tiffany in the late 1800s as a health resort to compete with Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and was eventually annexed by the city of Kansas City, Missouri, later planned partially to be a park in 1966.
