"More than 1,600 guitar strummers set a world mark to the strains of 'Smoke on the Water.'" In an effort to beat the Guinness record of 1,323 guitarists playing a song simultaneously set in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 1994, guitars players from around the Kansas City area gathered at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. Over 1,680 participated.
