Sherman grew up in Lee's Summit, Missouri, and is currently the NBC Action News (KSHB Channel 41) Weekend Morning Anchor. Sherman has worked in Iowa, Wyoming, and Louisiana before returning to Kansas City. She was a Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader and attended the University of Kansas majoring in broadcast journalism.
