Illustrations and biographical article about Murrel Crump, "advertising manager of Sinclair and of the Locke Stove company, nation's largest producers of coal heating stoves" with residence on a farm near Olathe, Kansas. Born in Santa Fe, Missouri in 1901 and coming to Kansas City in 1920 as a Sainta Fe railroad worker before becoming an advertising agent changing the name of the local "Ad Club" to the "Advertising and Sales Executives Club" at 913 Baltimore Avenue.
