Article looks back at the organizers and participants of the Women's Jazz Festival which took place in Kansas City in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The Women's Jazz Festival was founded in 1977 by Carol Comer and Dianne Gregg. The first event took place March 1978 and was held in Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas. The last festival was in 1985.
