Article reports on efforts by former major meague baseball players to aid the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. Since the passing of Buck O'Neil in 2006, the Museum has had difficulty finding a high-profile advocate and spokesman. Hall of Fame ballplayers such as Willie Mays, Ernie Banks, and Monte Irvin have showed interest in helping the Museum raise funds and increase its exposure.
