Description
Article discusses the Benton Circle improvements which are a part of the St. John Corridor Infrastructure and Land Use Plan. "About a year ago, residents, business owners and others from the community approved 'option c' from a set of possible plans for making the intersection of Benton and Gladstone boulevards (including St. John Avenue) safer for pedestrians and easier for motorists to navigate the right-of-way. Plans also call for enhancement of the Sen. Thomas Hart Benton memorial stone and plaque at the center of the existing traffic circle." Includes a picture of the Benton memorial and diagram of the intersection.
