Picture and article talks about the sculpture Catalyst by Kansas City artist Matt Dehaemers installed at the MAX bus stop at 31st Street and Troost Avenue. The sculpture is a 30-foot-tall aluminum and steel structure that includes eight steel medallions embedded in the surrounding sidewalk complete with a hydraulic motor inside that will open its wings about 35-feet over the bus stop.
