Photos and information on Sarah Lucille Turner Jepson, or Sarah Jepson (1898-1972), "one of the first two women elected to the Missouri Legislature House of Representatives in the election of 1922." Native of Illinois coming to Kansas City in 1908." Local Democratic political leader "active with women's groups in the preservation of the old tavern [sic] and George Caleb Bingham's house in Arrow Rock," Missouri. Also later secretary for Newsweek magazine and McGraw-Hill Publishing Company and wife of Kansas City lawyer Frank Walsh.
