Biographical article about Reverend Addison Dashiell Madeira, or Addison Madeira, Sr. (1828-1915), pastor of the Central Presbyterian Church in Kansas City until 1881, then "the largest Protestant congregation in K. C., MO. [sic]" Description of his life and career as a native of Cincinnati moving to Saint Joseph, Missouri, about 1850 as city attorney there before coming to Kansas City in 1869.
